Polexchem Boiler and Pipe Polyurethane Systems are specially designed to provide effective thermal insulation by filling the annular gap between the jacket and the boilers and pipes, creating a rigid polyurethane foam with a high closed-cell ratio. These systems contain a polyol mixture, which includes polyether and/or polyester polyols, catalysts, silicones, and blowing agents. Additionally, the chemical properties provided by the use of Poly-MDI (PMDI) as the isocyanate component allow the material to form closed cells, thereby reducing thermal conductivity and enabling the achievement of high-performance thermal insulation. These features contribute to minimizing energy costs and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of systems when used in industrial facilities, power plants, and similar applications, by increasing energy efficiency.
